Today I went to an IEC school- connected to an actual high school. It was definitely one of the most amazing experiences. Here, refugees and asylum seekers who have not received an education in English from age 13 to 18 can attend.
Today's post is a day-by-day 'diary' on my holidays, which sadly, recently finished (started school on 9 October) :((
Although I am extremely sad (and getting stressed again) due to school, with exams coming up in 4 weeks and the assignments piling up again, there are many things to look forward to this term! Such as.. the semi-formal, the 2 week: no classes break right after exams, The Jungle Giants concert this weekend, the One Direction concert in 3 weeks and, of course, Summer is coming. It officially is. Today, the 10th, was 36 whopping degrees. It's only Spring still! I might say I love Summer right now, but as soon as Summer actually comes, nope. Too hot down here. Bipolar Australia..
Any ways, enough with my blabbering! Here's the diary, enjoy! :)
So, the amazing Rachel from LUCID STARS was on the look out for people to do collaborations with her! Being me... I asked if I could do one with her! To be honest here, I'd call her my fashion buddy n best friend on blogspot. She's funny... talented... and of course, EXTREMELY fashionable!
We wrote five questions each and wrote answers to each of ours.
Yesterday I uploaded my next video (exciting, exciting- I know haha)
It was an outfit of the day (OOTD) with one of my best friends, Nicole!!! This video was actually filmed about 3 months ago, and being the lazy daisy me- I procrastinated the editing process and didn't edit it till now- or the upcoming 'Best Friend Tag'. Oops.

As you may have realised, today's post is about mixed CD's. 'Mixed Tapes' would have been the term used in the past, but times have changed and Compact Discs are the new tapes- though tapes are pretty snazzy.
My amazing friend (hello Sera!) created me a mixed CD (wow I keep wanting to say mixed tape) named 'Be Happy'. It surely has done the title justice! Such happy songs :)

I am Tara, a 15-year-old from Australia currently in High School- year 10. One of my life goals is to become an entrepreneur in the fashion industry or/and to work in business and fashion. I have a huge hobby and love for fashion, photography, youtube and blogging (this isn't my first time! haha).
About this blog:
Firstly, this blog was created for a project, an honours project more specifically, as an out of curriculum project. My chosen topic is "To create a website on hair and fashion". A lot of research into the three sub-topics of hair, fashion and WWW has been conducted to help me create this blog. It has been a long time- nearly a year- since I begun my research. I've been a bit slack till now where exams are over, holidays are near and therefore more time! So that's a bit of background information about why and how this blog came to be.
Secondly, don't think that the only reason I am doing this is for my project! I have always wanted a blog on fashion, actually before I even started the project! The project has given me heaps of time to sort everything out, plan for the future and now- creating this blog! In addition to this, this blog will also be used to post information and images of videos from my Youtube Channel. My Youtube Channel is a compilation (ok, maybe not right now, but it will be!) of fashion, DIY and vlogs.
Thirdly, this blog will be an accumulation of my style, my interests and inspiration. Who knows what the future holds? Maybe I'll buy a sewing machine and suddenly magically be able to sew! Who knows, maybe I could do some posts like that in the future? ;) I have ideas. For now, I'm going to focus on fashion then move, slowly and steadily, into hair. Hair is a bit harder than fashion I must say. You actually need more than a tripod and self-timer. By that I mean I need a person to take/film me to show details and precision (I'm currently making hair sound like a work of art rather than a birds nest on my head...).
