Hello my sweet-peas!
As you may have realised, today's post is about mixed CD's. 'Mixed Tapes' would have been the term used in the past, but times have changed and Compact Discs are the new tapes- though tapes are pretty snazzy.
My amazing friend (hello Sera!) created me a mixed CD (wow I keep wanting to say mixed tape) named 'Be Happy'. It surely has done the title justice! Such happy songs :)
She was inspired by this image:
Click 'Read More' to see some pictures and my own take on a mixed CD!
(Is it a bit weird that while I am typing this I am listening to San Cisco and the reason I want to keep saying mixed tape is because of this song that just came on shuffle- Beach. "I'll make you a mixed tape of all the songs that you hate" Any ways- great song, great band)
In return, I thought it would be a nice little gift back by giving her a mix CD.
I didn't want to give her the same thing back, because I mean seriously- eug - so unoriginal. No, I am kidding haha- I just wanted to give her something different.
So after 5 or 6 long hours of a close selection of music, following a strict 'mood'- I created the fantabulous
If you were unable to read my awful handwriting, the track list typed, especially for you:
- So good at being in trouble - Unknown Mortal Orchestra
- Kiss the Breeze - Sticky Fingers
- Fall Creek Boys Choir - James Blake and Bon Iver
- Shiver - Lucy Rose
- Crazy-Nôze Remix - Ornette
- Blood Bank - Bon Iver
- Milk - Sea Oleena
- I never learnt to share - James Blake
- Endless Summer- The Jezabels
- Troubled Waters - Sucré
- Paint - The Paper Kites
- From Roses - Fences
- Beach - San Cisco
- Stars - My Little Pony
- Candles - Daughter
- Flowers in your hair - The Lumineers
- Eddy's Song - Sticky Fingers
- Orkley - Swimming
