I have a bit of a different blog post for you all! As I'm entering my final year of school, I will be bogged down in assignments and exams ~ and I know a couple of you will be facing the similar things this year.
I thought I would film a video + make a blog post sharing my favourite study and organisation tips which help me study.

~ ORGANISATIONAL TIPS ~
2. Write a to do list of achievable goals! I usually write everything down on a piece of paper with little check boxes because there is always the feeling of satisfaction when you get to tick something off! I also use a planner to stay organised with everything I need to do.
3. Set a timer. Set the timer to an achievable time, whether it’s 15, 30 or 45 mins, or even up to 1hour if you can do it. Make sure you have a 10 to 15 minute break once the timer goes off. After setting the timer, make sure you move anything distracting away from you and out of eyesight so you’re not tempted to look at these distractions while you’re studying.
~ STUDY TIPS ~
1. Turn off all distractions such as
music. If you like to study with music, I suggest listening to classical music
~ classical music gives me head-aches, so I suggest going onto youtube and
searching for study music.
2. Power naps. Studying can be really boring and tiring if you haven’t had
a good nights sleep. I recommend taking a 10 minute power nap if you’re tired.
3. Light. Make sure you turn your light on when it begins to get dark! It's important that you don't ruin your eyes + keep awake while you study!
4. Snacks. To also stay energized throughout your study time, bring a bowl of healthy snacks and a couple sweet snacks to keep your going.
Some healthy snacks are walnuts, goji berries, dates and almonds.
For other snacks, try pretzels or little chocolates.
5. Stay Hydrated. It’s also important to stay hydrated, so always have a glass or bottle of water nearby when you’re studying.
6. Post-it Note Marker. This is a straightforward tip, but when I study over a period of time, to remember where I am in my studying, I used a little post it note to keep my place in my notes.
7. Colour. When writing my notes, I used a different colour to write out the key words in a different colour next to my notes.

Here I’ve highlighted all my case studies with a green
highlighter so it’s easier for me to find when I’m flicking through my notes
during exam time.
8. Diagrams. If you are a visual learner, definitely use diagrams to help you remember your information.
9. Write it out. I recommend writing out your notes by hand rather than typing as you are more likely to remember the information.
10. Mini Post-it Notes. Use mini post it notes to mark the most important information on your page. So [when you’re cramming right before an exam], you can just flick to the page and read that segment of information.
11. Most important info. Write the most important info on post it notes and stick them onto the bottom of each page.
12. Resources. Use a wide variety of resources to get as much valuable and 'unique' information! Use your class notes/ textbook/ textbooks from the library/ information online/ books.

All incredibly on-point! The influx of back-to-school tip posts in time for school is actually really motivating, I might even have to do a post of my own about it. I see myself nodding along to most of these :)
